About this Class
Lesson Features
At the beginning of each day, children will have their free play time before the class starts. Play in the preschool years enables children to explore and make sense of the world around them, as well as to use and develop their imagination and creativity.
Early literacy is learning about sounds, words and language. We support early literacy development by communicating with children, reading, and playing with rhyme and phonics. Children develop and learn best through everyday, fun activities like singing, talking and games.
We cultivate independence in children to promote confidence and self-esteem. Independence motivates children to continue to persevere in school. Our children will learn self-reliance, allowing them to feel that they have control in their daily life.

- Identify and name basic colors
- Count to ten: understand the concept of counting
- Say the alphabet
- Identify basic shapes
- Follow two-step or three-part commands
- Understand time better (for example morning, afternoon, night)
- Recognize and identify common objects and pictures
